A combination of the experience and tradition developed at Grappa’s over its twenty years of operations and the innovation and research of executive chef, Benjamin Leib, Grappa’s Long Island brings the Hong Kong legend to Guangdong.
The original dining concept of El Grande Holdings, Grappa’s has become an integral facet of Hong Kong’s dining culture. Grappa’s Long Island provides high quality Italian food in a relaxed atmosphere, taking pride in producing the majority of its ingredients in-house, and employing foundations of the freshest possible quality, most of which are sourced directly from Italy, such as the award winning Gocce di Coros olive oil (best Sardinian made olive oil 2007), the finest imported semolina flour and a variety of the world’s greatest natural cheese.
Executive Chef Benjamin Leib, of Italian and French descent, brings his own personality to both the kitchen and the restaurant. Chef Ben has worked in broad range of restaurants around the world including Michelin starred Le Grand Ecuyer in Cordes, France, the three Michelin starred Guy Savoy in Paris, France, the five star Park Hyatt in Chicago or Kathleen 5 in Shanghai. Beyond simply restaurants, Chef Ben has also cooked for the President of France and served as embassy chef for the French embassy in Azerbaijan
Chef Ben has a broad range of experience in China, and has developed a distinctly Italian menu featuring his favourite dishes from the Grappa’s catalogue and a selection of creations tailored specifically to Grappa’s Long Island. |
