When Grappa’s first opened at Pacific Place in October 1990, it was a revolutionary concept. In an era when fine dining meant hotel restaurants, founder JR Robertson envisioned something different: a place where quality Italian cuisine could be enjoyed in a warm, casual atmosphere.
“We felt it’s important to provide patrons with food of the highest standards found anywhere in the world,” says the El Grande team, a philosophy that has guided Grappa’s through 36 remarkable years.
